В городе Оденсе открыта трамвайная система. Движение осуществляется на линии "Tarup Center — Hjallese Station" длиной 14,4 км.

Открытие трамвайного движения состоялось спустя более чем 1,5 года после изначально объявленного срока.

В город прибыл первый трамвай Stadler Variobahn для строящейся линии Letbane.
Пробный запуск движения, по данным https://www.odenseletbane.dk/ назначен уже на этот год. А в следующем году должен состояться ввод линии в полноценную эксплуатацию.

Stadler Pankow selected to supply 16 Variobahn trams for DKr336m for the light rail line planned for the city. This is 2 more than the city had originally planned to purchase, so that the 7,5 min headway can be operated, rather than the initially proposed 10 min headway. Comsa, together with the local subcontractor Munck Gruppen, will supply overhead installation, substations, track, stops and the maintenance depot for DKr1,2bn. The new 14,7 km-long line with 26 stops will connect Tarup in the north with Hjallelese in the south via Odense Banegård Central and Syddansk Universitet.
