Introduction of autumn timetables.

Trolleybuses resume operation on route 2 that was temporarily operated by buses from 2024-12-02 due to the shortage of drivers.

Due to shortage of trolleybus drivers, route 2 temporarily will be operated by buses.

Buses and trolleybuses will once again run via Klinikos according to their usual routes.

Due to resurfacing works on A. Kriščiukaičio g. on June 3rd route 5 is diverted to Kėdainių g. loop.

Due to resurfacing works on A. Kriščiukaičio g. on May 10-13th route 5 is diverted to Kėdainių g. loop. Temporary bus route 0 Kauno pilis — Varnių g. will be running instead.

Due to reconstruction of Eivenių g. and Klinikos loop bus and trolleybus routes are temporarily altered.
— Buses 3, 43,67 and trolleybuses 1, 4,9, 12 will run straight on Sukilėlių pr. without diverting into Klinikos.
— Buses 34G, 41,54 will run via Klinikos only via Tvirtovės al. and V. Lašo g. From 1st June diversion route will be shortened until V. Lašo g. stop (located on Tvirtovės al.)
— On Sukilėlių pr. in direction from city center, after intersection with Eivenių g. new temporary stop Klinikos is added for all routes.

Introduction of autumn timetables. End of the reconstruction of Nemuno g. — trolleybus services will run on their usual routes.
— Line 1 is reinstated.
— Line 2 will run on it's usual route and only on weekdays.
— Trolleybuses will once again run on lines 5, 7 (on full route), 14 and 15.
— Trips to Kauno marios will no longer run on lines 9 и 12.
— Solaris Trollino III 12AC resume operation.

Due to end of construction works on Neries krantinė, route temporary bus route #0 Kauno pilis – Panerių g. is cancelled. Route 5 once again runs until Varnių g. but is still operated by buses due to reconstruction of Nemuno g.

Summer timetables introduced. Due to construction works on Nemuno g. all public transport routes are diverted through Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. and Birštono g. Since trolleybus routes are affected and detour does not have trolleybus wires, there are additional changes:
— Route 1 is cancelled.
— Route 2 is running in the opposite direction: Islandijos pl. — Savanorių pr. — Kauno pilis — K. Donelaičio g. — Parodos g. — Islandijos pl. There will be more departures on weekdays and introduction of operation on weekends to replace cancelled route 1.
— Route 4 has additional departures to compensate cancelled route 1.
— Route 5 is operated by buses.
— Route 7 is operated by buses and is shortened to Geležinkelio stotis — Kaniūkai.
— Route 14 is operated by Berkhof trolleybuses which have autonomous drive.
— Route 15 is operated by buses.
Solaris Trollino III 12AC are not operating due to lower amount of vehicles needed to cover all trips during summer period.

From 01:00 2022-05-07 to 04:00 2022-05-09 due to street lighting maintenance works on Vaidoto g., routes 1 and 4 are shortened to Tilto g. Temporary bus route #30 will run between Tilto g. and Vaidoto g. stops.

Due to reconstruction of heating networks on Neries krantinė, route 5 is shortened to Kauno pilis. Section between Kauno pilis and Panerių g. is served by a temporary bus route #0.

Due to reconstruction of Kovo 11-osios str. there will be changes in operation of route 9, 12, 13 and 16.
— 9 and 12 will be operated by buses;
— 13 will be operated by Berkhof trolleybuses with autonomous drive;
— 16 will be operated both by Berkhof trolleybuses with autonomous drive and buses.

В связи с реконструкцией кольцевой развязки у моста П. Вилейшиса, а также ремонтными работами на самом мосту, вносятся изменения в маршруты городского и пригородного общественного транспорта.
— 2 маршрут от остановки Vilniaus g. направится прямо по пр. Саванорю без заезда на Kauno Pilis.
— 5 маршрут сокращается до остановки Vilniaus g.
— 7 маршрут будет заменён на автобусный, следующий по сокращенной трассе: Geležinkelio stotis — центр — Savanorių pr. — Utenos g. — Varnių tiltas — Neries krantinė — Raudondvario pl. — Kaniūkai.
— 10 маршрут от Savanorių pr. направляется в центр без заезда на Kauno Pilis и будет работать ежедневно.
— 10A маршрут отменяется.
— 11 маршрут будет заменён на автобусный, следующий по измененной трассе: Islandijos pl. — P. Lukšio g. — Savanorių pr. — Varnių tiltas — Neries krantinė — Raudondvario pl. — Kaniūkai.
— городские и пригородные автобусы будут направлены в обьезд, сокращены либо разделены на 2 части.

From 28.07.2020 to 18.08.2020 routes 8, 9, 10, 10A, 12, 15 and 16 will be replaced by buses due to construction work on Taikos prospektas. Also, after many months Berkhof Premier AT18 trolleybuses will begin to operate due to same reason above.

Из-за строительства соединительной улицы между магистралью А1 и улицей С. Жукаускаса, примерно на месяц будут изменены троллейбусные маршруты. 1, 2, 4, 11, 13 и 14 маршруты сокращаются до кольцевого перекрестка пр. Шяурес и ул. С. Жукаускаса. 13 и 14 маршруты не будут ехать через ул. Ашигалё.

Route number 10A was given to shorter version of route 10 to Kauno pilis, valid only on weekends.

На 9 ноября 2015 года запланировано открытие троллейбусного движения по мосту в микрорайон Panamunė. 1 и 4 маршруты спустя почти 3 года вернутся на левый берег Немана до конечной Vaidoto. В настоящее время проводится монтаж новой контактной сети по улицам Tilto и Vaidoto.

Открыт новый 4 троллейбусный маршрут Islandijos pl.-Juozapavičiaus pr.

3 маршрут Draugystės g. – Kęstučio g. сокращен до остановки Dainava (Draugystės g. – Dainava).

Восстановлено движение по улице Jurbarko.

Восстанавливается троллейбусное движение по реконструированному проспекту Юуозапавичяус. 1-й троллейбусный маршрут продлевается до временного кольца у бывшего троллейбусного парка, а временный автобус №1 закрывается.

Закрывается движение транспорта по улице Jurbarko из-за ремонта коммуникаций до 30 августа 2013 года. Троллейбусные маршруты №7 и №11 укорачиваются до остановки Kauno pilis. Вводится временные автобусные маршруты: №4 Vičiūnai-Kaniūkai, №9 Kauno pilis-Lampėdžiai и №48A Kauno pilis-Kaniūkai. Расписание на сайте http://www.stops.lt/kaunas/#kaunas
