La station Namwirye (남위례역) sur la ligne 8 du métro est ajoutée comme nouvelle station intermédiaire.

La ligne de VAL Uijeongbu est étendue d'une station à la "plateforme temporaire de dépôt". Cette station comporte un quai est une seule voie. Entre l'ancien terminus et la nouvelle station, il y a un conducteur malgrès l'automatisation du reste de la ligne.

The Incheon Airport Maglev Line opened on February 3, 2016. The line is 6.1 km (3.8 mi) long, with six stations, and operating speed of 110 km/h (68 mph). Two more extensions are planned at 9.7 km and 37.4 km. Once completed, it will become a circular line.
