• 10 (ten) 12 metre electric buses
• 40 (fourty) 7 metre electric buses
• 22 (twenty-two) 8 metre electric buses
• 12 (twelve) 10 metre electric buses
• 200 (two hundred) 9 metre electric buses

Jinqiu Taxi calls tenders for twenty (20) 10 metre electric buses.
On the same day, Luhong Passenger Transport also calls tenders for twenty (20) 10 metre electric buses.

Minhang Public Transport calls tenders for twenty (20) 8 metre class electric buses, with price not to exceed ¥1,430,000 per unit and twenty (20) 7 metre class electric buses, with price not to exceed ¥1,4170,000 per unit.

Minhang Public Transport calls tenders for five (5) 9 metre class electric buses, with price not to exceed ¥1,540,000 per unit.

2025/06/06: tender is awarded to Wanxiang for the supply of five SXC6900GBEVLFR.

Shanghai Jiushi Public Transport (Shanghai Buses) calls tenders for twenty-eight (28) 12 metre dual-mode trolleybuses, with price not exceeding ¥1,300,000 per unit and thirty-eight (38) 18 metre dual-mode trolleybuses, with price not exceeding ¥1,950,000 per unit.

2025/05/26: contract is awarded to Yutong as the only bidder in the tender; models to be supplied are ZK5180C and ZK5125C.

Tenders for 9 and 10.5 metre electric buses are awarded to Sunwin.

28/03/2025: Qingpu Buses calls tenders for 10 sub-premium grade 8 metre electric buses, 17 sub-premium grade 10.5 metre electric buses and 40 sub-premium grade 9 metre electric buses.

Tenders for both the 7 and 9 metre electric buses are awarded to Sunwin.

28/03/2025: Chongming Buses calls tenders for fifty-nine (59) 9 metre sub-premium class electric buses, with price not exceeding ¥1,540,000 per unit and twenty-nine (29) 7 metre sub-premium class electric buses, with price not exceeding ¥1,170,000 per unit.

Lingang Public Transport Group re-holds the tender for ten (10) 8 metre class electric buses, with price not to exceed ¥1,300,000 per unit.

Taiyangdao Buses calls tenders for ten 10 metre class electric buses, with price per vehicle not exceeding ¥1,380,000.

Lingang Public Transport Group calls tenders for 15x 12 metre dual side door electric buses and 28x 8 metre electric buses.

To celebrate the occasion, S5A-0014 has received a special wrap commemorating the start of service in 1914.

Trolleybus overhead wires from Changshu Road Huashan Road to Jingansi are restored; this section is used by route 15 .

Trolleybus overhead wires in Chongqing Road (S) Depot has been dismantled.

Route 23 returns to running on Jinling Road (M) in both directions, after the contact network on this road was restored.
The route now has 100% contact network coverage.

15 new Yutong dual mode IMF/IMC trolleybuses arrive in Shanghai.

With route 15 switching to new Sunwin iEV12T trolleybuses on January 18, YoungMan trolleybuses (JNP6120BEV1 and JNP-WG120G) are fully retired from regular route service.

2nd batch of Sunwin SWB5129BEV77G (iEV12T) trolleybuses with 100.27kWh batteries start entering service on routes 14, 19 and 23, replacing the YoungMan JNP6120BEV1 (and its related models)

Work on route 71 extension has commenced.

Line 15 is opened apart from Guilin Road, where the transfer is not yet complete.
