The first M31 trams, modernised at the Škoda Group factory in Ostrava, have been put into service. The contract with the Škoda company provides for the complete modernisation of 79 M31 trams, extending their service life by 15 years.

The modernised tram cars have been designated ASEA/MGB/Škoda M31B in the database.

All remaining M28 vehicles (delivered 1965-1967) were taken out of service on the afternoon of October 28th 2021, due to corrosion problems discovered in a fleet check.

Открыта трамвайная линия в ценре города по Södra Hamngatan — Skeppsbron — Järntorgsgatan. Линию открыли более 10-ка музейных вагонов, работавших на ней в первый день, в субботу, 15.08.2015.
