From the book Tracks, Tires, and Wires page 83. It created the new lines 1-9 we are familiar with in the description of the 1924 map. Already a couple lines (10 and 11) were buses, due to closures on lines damaged during the San Francisco earthquake of 1906. https://transphoto.org/photo-all/1782498/ 1912The San Jose & Santa Clara County Railway is merged into the San Jose Railroads, ending the duopoly between the two companies (1882-1912) and forming a street railway monopoly in the town of San Jose.
