As temporarily replacement for the trams, a rubber tired trolley is now running along the Main Street. A rubber tired trolley is just a bus.

The remaining route (Main Street line) is suspended for an indefinitely time. No trams are running anymore.

Trolleybus operation in Memphis is discontinued.
