В 1887 г. 60 вагонов конки перевозили до 15 тыс. пасс. в день (5 млн. в год). Протяженность линий составляла 21 версту. Плата за проезд на Муштаидской, Песковской и Ортачальской
линиях составляла 3 коп. на Михайловской, Ольгинской и Верийской – 5 коп.

125th Street Line of the Third Avenue Railroad is reinstated after conversion to cable operation.

23 мая 1885 г. городская управа заключила новый договор с Шевцовым, который предусматривал постройку однопутной Ортачальской линии конки в продолжение Песковской линии от Саманной (Площадь Горгасали) пл. до Мнацакановского моста (мост 300 Арагвинцев). Ортачальская линия открылась 1 декабря 1886 г. К этому времени Шевцов уже продал предприятие бельгийскому Анонимному обществу Тифлисских конно-железных дорог. 18 сентября 1885 г. управа утвердила передачу конки новому концессионеру.

23 июля 1885 г. по-новому Верийскому мосту и спуску пошли вагоны конки. Таким образом, все линии конки, намеченные в договоре 1881 г., были построены. Все линии были построены в два пути за исключением участков по Дворцовой ул. и между вокзалом и коночным парком.

В г. Карачи начато движение парового трамвая.

Третья линия конки – Ольгинская – открылась 8 августа 1883 г. Она соединила Эриванскую (пл. Свободы) пл. c Повивальным институтом (клиника Чачава) по Дворцовой (ныне часть просп. Руставели) ул., Головинскому просп. (просп. Руставели) и Ольгинской ул. (Костава).
