Yonggwang Station reopens following reconstruction. The interior has been repainted and lighting has changed, with the chandeliers removed.

2024 m. gruodžio 25 d.

Tram route 2 (Munsu-Tosong) closes for conversion to trolleybus service. Trolleybuses with off-wire running replace former tram services until the new trolleybus overhead wires are completed.

Yonggwang Station closes for renovations.

Due to construction works for third stage of Hwasong District Stage 3 project, trolleybus route 9 (Ryonmotdong—Ryongsong) temporarily ceases operation.

New Chollima-518/1 and Chollima-518/2 articulated trolleybuses start operating on routes in Pyongyang.

Roadworks on Mansu Bridge finish, with trolleybus route 8 resuming service and route 2 returning to its original route.

2022 m. Gegužė

Due to construction work on the Mansu bridge, trolleybus route 8 is suspended and route 2 is rerouted through Kyongru-dong.

2022 m. balandžio 15 d.

A new trolleybus line and a significant extension has been opened in Pyongyang.

The new line runs from Songyo to the new development at Songhwa, and route 3 has been extended through a diversion, to run through Yongung Street and Hyoksin Street.
