Due to construction work on the Mansu bridge, trolleybus route 8 is suspended and route 2 is rerouted through Kyongru-dong.

A new trolleybus line and a significant extension has been opened in Pyongyang.

The new line runs from Songyo to the new development at Songhwa, and route 3 has been extended through a diversion, to run through Yongung Street and Hyoksin Street.

La ligne de tramway Mankyeungdai-Songsin est coupée en deux, avec une ligne à l'ouest se terminant à la gare de Pyongyang, et une ligne à l'est continuant qu'à Songsin. La partie centrale sur le pont Taedonggang et dans le centre de la rue Yonggwang sont abandonnée.
