January 9, 1832The ordinance about route of the New York & Harlem Railroad is accepted.
December 22, 1831The ordinance about route of the New York & Harlem Railroad is approved. The route is selected as follows: along Fouth Avenue from 23rd Street to Harlem River, with a branch to Hudson River along 125th Street.
April 25, 1831New York and Harlem Railroad Co. is chartered to build a track from the north bounds of 23rd Street to any point at the Harlem River between Third and Eighth Avenues, inclusive.
