По информации руководства коммунального предприятия «Краснодонское троллейбусно-автотранспортное управление» с 1 июня в связи с отключением электроэнергии на предприятии работа городского электрического транспорта КП «КТАУ» по маршрутам №1 «Славутич – Первомайка» и №4 «кв.Баракова – Первомайка» будет остановлена.

19 LIAZ-5292 diesel buses and 6 PAZ midibuses have been officially introduced in the city. The LIAZ buses will operate via all trolleybus routes 1, 3 and 4.

As per decision made by the local authorities, trolleybuses are to be replaced with high passenger carrying capacity and mid-capacity diesel buses in the nearest future.

A visitor to the city reported that the trolleybus Line 1 is operated with 4 vehicles, and the Line 4 is operated with 2 vehicles on weekdays. Other reports suggest that only 1 vehicle is operated on each of the lines on weekends. The fare is 10 rubles.
