3 Prosinac 2025 god.

Trolleybus service began in Velikiy Novgorod 30 years ago.

1 Studeni 2025 god.

From November 1, 2025, the fare will be 45 rubles (or 43 rubles with the "Beresta" card).

17 Siječanj 2025 god.

A Škoda 14TrM (VMZ) trolleybus (№23) was handed over to the Exposition and exhibition complex of urban electric transport in St. Petersburg.

1 Lipanj 2024 god.

From June 1, 2024, the fare will be 39 rubles (or 37 rubles with the "Beresta" card).

18 Rujan 2023 god.

Due to construction work at Vokzalnaya Square, buses will operate on trolleybus routes 2 and 3 until October 18, 2023.

1 Studeni 2022 god.

From November 1, 2022, the fare will be 35 rubles (or 33 rubles with the "Beresta" card).

6 Lipanj 2022 god.

Routes 4 and 5 are closed. The last trip was made trolleybus №5.

1 Studeni 2021 god.

From November 1, 2021, the fare will be 30 rubles (or 28 rubles with the "Beresta" card).

14 Siječanj 2021 god.

3 TrolZa-5265.00 «Megapolis» trolleybuses arrived in Velikiy Novgorod from Moscow. A total of 10 trolleybuses are expected.

11 Prosinac 2019 god.

2 LiAZ-52803 trolleybuses (№54 and №55), purchased in September, went on line in Veliky Novgorod. The trolleybuses were manufactured by the Likinsky Bus Plant in 2009 and 2007, respectively, but had never been used for passenger service.

1 Rujan 2019 god.

Trolleybus service has been restored in Grigorovo. 4th and 5th routes are served by a single vehicle (alternating).

30 Studeni 2018 god.

13 trolleybuses of the VMZ-5298, VMZ-170, PTZ-5283, and ZiU-682G-016 models have arrived in Veliky Novgorod from Saint-Petersburg.

1 Rujan 2018 god.

A Volgabus-5270.E0 electric bus arrived in Veliky Novgorod for testing. It will be tested on 4th bus route.

1 Srpanj 2018 god.

From July 1, 2018, the fare will be 27 rubles (or 25 rubles with the "Beresta" card).

1 Siječanj 2016 god.

From January 1, 2016 trip on public transport will cost 22 rubles.

25 Svibanj 2015 god.

1st and 3rd trolleybus routes will have fewer trolleybuses, and 41th and 43th bus routes will be added. On weekdays, trolleybuses on 2nd and 3rd routes will run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

11 Svibanj 2015 god.

Trolleybus service on the line to Grigorovo ("Kolos" department store, 4th and 5th routes) has been suspended.

1 Travanj 2015 god.

From April 1 to May 1, 2015 buses will replace trolleybuses on weekends.

From March 1, 2015 trip on public transport will cost 20 rubles.

1 Ožujak 2014 god.

From March 1, 2014 trip on public transport will cost 18 rubles.

1 Ožujak 2013 god.

From March 1, 2013 trip on public transport will cost 16 rubles.

11 Listopad 2012 god.

Новгородские власти заявили о скорой приватизации троллейбусного депо. В ближайшие месяцы организация должна сменить многолетний статус и перейти из МУП в ОАО, сообщил в ходе состоявшейся сегодня коллегии мэр Великого Новгорода Юрий Бобрышев.

1 Kolovoz 2011 god.

С 1 августа из-за ремонтных работ на Григоровском виадуке движение в график движения троллейбусов будут внесены изменения. Троллейбусы будут начинать движение в 6:30 и заканчивать в 22:00.

1 Lipanj 2005 god.

From June 1, 2005 trip on public transport will cost 7 rubles.

From February 16, 2004 trip on public transport will cost 6 rubles.
