Tram-Trains of the Regional Stadtbahn Neckar-Alb are planned to be maintained in the future on the site of the former freight yard on Sondelfinger Straße in Reutlingen.
The depot will include a workshop, warehouse, offices, and a covered hall for parking 20 tram-trains.
Initially, the connection will be to the Neckar-Alb railway (EBO line 760), and later directly to the Stadtbahn tracks.
The location is ideally situated — close to Reutlingen’s main station and centrally located in the future network of the Regional Stadtbahn Neckar-Alb.
