Información

ATAC — Azienda per i Trasporti Autoferrotramviari del Comune di Roma. Established in 1909 change the name many times: AATM, ATM, ATG, ATAG and from 1946 is ATAC. It is the municipal company that runs the transportation network in the city. From 1919 it started to absorb the SRTO. From 1937 and 1972 operated the first trolleybus network (the biggest in Italy). From 2005 it runs the new trolleybus line. ATAC started the bus operation from 1927. the Metro and local railways arrived under the ATAC control from 2010.
