Why will nobody finance the Trolza factory? Large orders probable for the new version with independent course: from St Petersburg, Crimea, plus potential for Kazan, Rostov, even Krasnodar. Probably enough demand for a year's production. Just need some working capital.

Berlin and Stockholm think they will need trolleybuses with autonomous course for the heaviest routes. Also Prague already building a new trolleybus route ~50% wires ~50% battery power.

I like the look of these trolleybuses. They originally said the price would be attractive and that they had interest from various cities. It is a pity that little seems to happen.

Strangely, there is another trolleybus UTTZ-6241-000010 that was also in Ufa. Externally it looks similar but these pictures show that the second trolleybus is low floor.

Thanks. That is a CCS charging port. I have one on my electric Volkswagen! It is s standard European fitting. It can be used either with 7kW AC or rapid charging with DC at 50kW. So a 10 minute recharge using DC at the end of the line would only supply 8.3kWh, which is enough for 4 or 5 miles drive.

How many bus companies allow drivers 10 minute breaks every time they reach the end of the line?

Thanks. But I cannot see any pantograph or any other connection device. Do you know the type of connector?

Is this model compliant with the standards set in the current tender for 300 electric buses? If so, where is the power connector? I thought the tender called for a pantograph like on the KAMAZ.

But the tender for electrobuses requires fast opportunity charging using a pantograph. This bus (like the previous LiAZ electrobus) seems to be intended for overnight charging.

The restoration of 7 trolleybuses is done by external contractors. The quality of the work should be good. Read these two articles:
