11.09.2025 The long-awaited launch of the trolleybus system after 30 years of planning and construction.

In addition to six Van Hool trolleybuses, two Yutong electric buses also operate on the line between Pescara and Montesilvano.

23.02.2021 An order has been placed with Van Hool and Kiepe Electric for six Exqui.City 18 trolleybuses with in-motion charging, with an option for three more. Delivery is expected to commence in mid-2022.
07.03.2017 Trolleybus test trial runs. The Chieti Van Hool 304 was used.
