Imperio Civitas trams now officially run on route 1b (Făt Frumos – Platforma Vest).

Tram traffic to Ghioroc village will be suspended indefinitely until the infrastructure will be modernized. Therefore, routes 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 will be suspended and replaced by buses starting from Piața Podgoria.
Also, tram lines 7 and 18b to Micălaca district will be suspended, with trams running via Piața Romană — Confecții — Piața UTA (line 7) and via Piața UTA — Confecții — Piața Romană (line 18b). From Piața Podgoria to Micălaca trams will be replaced by buses.
Also, the modernization of the tram infrastructure from Făt Frumos terminus is completed, therefore the traffic of trams 1b, 3, 6, 15 returns to normal. |

Publication of tender for purchase of 5 electric buses (6m) through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
19.12.2024: contract was signed with Anadolu Automobil Rom (romanian importator for Karsan Otomotiv).
12.2025: all electric buses were delivered. |

Due to the beginning of the infrastructure modernization from Făt Frumos terminus, tram traffic will be suspended between Piața UTA — Făt Frumos — Piața Gai.
Trams of lines 3, 9, 11, 15, as well as those of lines 7 and 18b will have Piața UTA as their terminus. Tram traffic on lines 1b and 6 will be completely suspended.
To avoid confusion, the shortened route numbers will be followed by the letter "a" (not shown always on the tram signs). |
