26.04.2024	Publication of tender for purchase of 18 electric buses (10m) through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. 05.11.2024: contract was signed with BMC Truck & Bus (romanian importator for ZTE Smart Auto buses).
01.09.2022	Publication of tender for purchase of 20 electric buses (16x6m + 4x9m) through the Regional Operational Program, Priority Axis 4 of the REGIO Program 2014-2020. 12.04.2023: contract was signed with BMC Truck & Bus (romanian importator for King Long buses). 01.2024: all electric buses were delivered.
29.09.2020	Publication of tender for purchase of 21 electric buses (10m) through the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration. 23.12.2021: contract was signed with BMC Truck & Bus (romanian importator for ZTE Smart Auto buses). 07.2023: all electric buses were delivered.
20.09.2019	Trolleybus operation will be officially suspended on 23.09.2019, due to financial problems. Since trolleybuses do not operate on weekends, their last day of operation was Friday, 20.09.2019.
03.05.2018	An outer segment of the long interurban trolleybus line between Dumbrava Moara — Platforma Savinesti is closed due to low ridership. SC Troleibuzul began dismantling the overhead in the town of Savinesti to prevent possible theft of the wires. http://tramclub.org/
