Однодневная забастовка работников общественного транспорта Берлина: U-Bahn, трамваи, а также почти все автобусные маршруты не работают. Аналогичные забастовки проходят по всей Германии, они организованы профсоюзом Verdi. Железнодорожный транспорт не затронут.
В случае с берлинским трамваем BVG и Verdi пришли к копромиссу, чтобы не допустить обледенения контактной сети: организованы служебные рейсы без пассажиров. В кадре – объявление о служебных рейсах, транслируемое по электронным табло.

One-day strike by Berlin public transport workers: the U-Bahn, trams and almost all bus routes are not operating. Similar strikes are taking place across Germany, organized by the Verdi union. Rail transport is not affected.
In the case of Berlin's tram network, BVG and Verdi have reached a compromise to prevent the contact network from icing up: service runs without passengers have been scheduled. The picture shows an announcement about service runs displayed on electronic displays.

Результат не самого впечатляющего кризис-менеджмента BVG на фоне трамвая с рекламой, приглашающей на работу в BVG.
Вследствие ледяного дождя трамвайная сеть Берлина была полностью выведена из строя более чем на сутки (с 3:00 26 января). О надвигающемся циклоне было заранее известно, тем не менее, никаких упреждающих мер принято не было.
27 января после 8:00 трамвайная линия M5 возобновила свою работу в укороченном виде (S+U Lichtenberg/Gudrunstraße – S Hackescher Markt) и с интервалами 10 минут.

The result of BVG's not-so-impressive crisis management, with a tram displaying an advertisement inviting people to work for BVG.
Due to icy rain, Berlin's tram network was completely shut down for more than 24 hours (from 3:00 a.m. on 26 January). The upcoming cyclone was known in advance, but no preventive measures were taken.
On 27 January, after 8:00 a.m., the M5 tram line resumed operation in a shortened form (S+U Lichtenberg/Gudrunstraße – S Hackescher Markt) and at 10-minute intervals.

Снимок сделан в разгар рабочего дня. Но конечная нескольких популярных маршрутов почти пустая из-за последствий ледяного дождя.
М5 стал первым маршрутом берлинского трамвая, который возобновил работу, но при этом в укороченном виде – с данной конечной он поедет до кольца S+U Lichtenberg/Gudrunstraße, куда в обычное время линии Metrotram вообще не заезжают. Такой выбор обусловлен близостью к депо Lichtenberg, вокруг которого контактную сеть очистили от наледи в первую очередь.

The photo was taken in the middle of the working day. But the terminus of several popular routes is almost empty due to the icy rain.
The M5 was the first Berlin tram route to resume operation, but in a shortened form – from this terminus, it runs to the S+U Lichtenberg/Gudrunstraße loop, where Metrotram lines do not normally operate at all. This choice was made due to its proximity to the Lichtenberg depot, around which the overhead power lines were cleared of ice first.

Нынешняя организация движения в районе остановки "Holteistraße", адаптированная под оборот трамвая №21.
Эта "временная схема" проработает как минимум несколько лет, однако точные сроки назвать нельзя: проблемный участок, из-за которого линия №21 оказалась разорвана на две части, точно ремонтировать уже не будут, а новая линия через вокзал Ostkreuz пока заходит на очередной бюрократический круг.

The current traffic situation in the area around the Holteistraße stop, adapted to accommodate tram №21.
This "temporary scheme" will remain in place for at least several years, but the exact timing cannot be specified: the worn-out problem section, which caused line 21 to be split into two parts, will not be repaired, while the new line via Ostkreuz station is still going through another round of bureaucratic procedures.

Наиболее проблемный участок линии №21: рельсовое полотно после 40 лет эксплуатации почти полностью изношено, трамвай следует к остановке со скоростью около 5 км/ч.
21 ноября будет последним днём работы для секции маршрута №21 между остановками "Wismarplatz" и "Marktstraße". После этого будет линия будет разделена на две части. Компенсационного маршрута не будет.
Первое за долгие годы закрытие маршрутной трамвайной линии Берлина произошло из-за колоссальных задержек по проекту новой трамвайной линии для маршрута №21: она должна подвести трамваи ближе к вокзалу Ostkreuz и заменить устаревающий участок, однако и без того не самый идеальный проект столкнулся с сопротивлением жителей и бюрократическими трудностями.

The most troublesome section of line 21: after 40 years of operation, the track is almost completely worn out, and trams travel to the tram stop at about 5 km/h.
The 21st of November will be the last day of operation for the section of route 21 between the stops "Wismarplatz" and "Marktstraße". After that, the line will be divided into two parts. There will be no replacement route.
The first closure of a Berlin tram line in many years occurred due to huge delays in the project to build a new tram line for the route №21: it is intended to bring trams closer to Ostkreuz station and replace the aging section, but the already less-than-ideal project has encountered resistance from residents and bureaucratic hurdles.

Alte Schönhauser Straße
Из-за ремонтных работ на Karl-Liebknecht-Straße и Spandauer Straße возникла потребность в изменении схемы движения, вследствие чего служебную линию через Alte Schönhauser Straße и Neue Schönhauser Straße задействовали для маршрутов M5 и M6, чтобы те по-прежнему могли проезжать через Hackescher Markt.
На момент публикации снимка ремонтные работы завершены, эта линия вновь осталась без маршрутного движения.

Following the repair works on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße and Spandauer Straße, it became necessary to adjust the traffic flow, resulting in the service line via Alte Schönhauser Straße and Neue Schönhauser Straße being used for routes M5 and M6, allowing them to continue through Hackescher Markt.
At the time of publication, the repair works have been completed, and this line is once again without the regular tram service.

Павильон можно изготовить, вторично использовав материалы остановок старого образца, что существенно упрощает производство.
Крыша помимо растительности ещё имеет отсек с фотоэлементами (модуль с высокой надстройкой), который может функционировать как дополнение к уже существующим остановочным павильонам.

The pavilion can be made by recycling the materials of old-style stops, which significantly simplifies production.

С нуля построенный трамвайно-автобусный тоннель для приоритетного заезда на конечную станцию с северной стороны. Стены украшены граффити с различными транспортными средствами, среди которых Bullenbahn – промышленная железнодорожная сеть, работавшая в Schöneweide.

A new tram and bus tunnel was built for priority access to the terminus on the north side. The walls are decorated with graffiti of various vehicles, among them the Bullenbahn, an industrial railway network operated in Schöneweide.

Борт 9080, следовавший по маршруту №16 в сторону центра, использует разворотное кольцо, чтобы отправиться по той же линии, но уже в сторону конечной "Ahrensfelde, Stadtgrenze", нужно подменить рейс маршрута M8: из-за проблем с контактной сетью на Raoul-Wallenberg-Straße работа этой линии была нарушена.

Tram 9080, which was travelling on route №16 towards the centre, uses the roundabout to travel on the same line but towards the "Ahrensfelde, Stadtgrenze" terminus, to substitute for the tram M8: following problems with the catenary network at Raoul-Wallenberg-Straße, the operation of this line was disrupted.
