Museu da Carris Classics Parade 2024

The Museu da Carris Classics Parade is an annual celebration in Lisbon where the city’s historic trams and buses roll back onto the streets in style. Held each September to mark Carris’ anniversary and European Mobility Week, it offers the rare chance to ride beautifully restored vehicles — from early 20th‑century open‑saloon trams to mid‑century double‑decker buses — along a scenic route between Algés and Praça da Figueira. Beyond the rides, the day is filled with live music from the Banda da Carris, theatrical reenactments, and even sweet treats from Pastéis de Belém, making it both a journey through Lisbon’s transport history and a lively street festival.
