8 июля через Хьюстон прошёл тропический шторм "Берил". Городу нанесён довольно большой ущерб, известно о как минимум 10 погибших, также 1,5 миллиона жителей Хьюстона по состоянию на 09.07 находятся без электроэнергии.
Трамвайные маршруты не работали с 22:00 07.07.
08.07 — трамваи не работали совсем как и любой общественный транспорт.
09.07 — работало около 10 маршрутов автобусов, трамваи также не работали.
10.07 — На красный и фиолетовый маршрут трамвая временно вышли автобусы, зелёный пока не работает ни в каком виде. Обычные автобусные маршруты в большинстве работают.
Ожидается полное восстановление движения в ближайшие дни.
On July 8, Tropical Storm "Beryl" passed through Houston area. The city suffered quite a lot of damage, at least 10 deaths are known, and 1.5 million Houston residents are without power as of 07/09.
Tram routes have not been operating since 22:00 07/07.
08.07 — trams didn't work and any other public transport too.
09.07 — about 10 bus routes were working, trams were also not working.
10.07 — Buses have temporarily taken over the red and purple tram routes; the green route is not yet operating in any form. Regular bus routes are operating for the most part.
Full restoration of traffic is expected in the coming days.
