This was the last route in the province of Limburg, with on that moment a recent and modern tram. This route was closed almost 3 years later (23/12/1961).

This tram was already out of service but not yet (officialy) withdrawn. In some cases, this was done (on paper) after that the vehicle was scrapped...

After closure of the route Spa-Verviers, the trams went to Liège, for use as work car or for extra trams by events, e.g. football matches.
