Dong Shan Kou, Inner loop Rd.

Trolleybus wire switch near Dong Shan Kou, Inner loop Rd. Westbound. This switch type is the most common design in China. Probably manufactured by a factory in Yangzhou.
This is a traditional type trolleybus wire switch that is triggered by electric current. To trigger the switch, the driver steps on the accelerate pedal when the trolley pole is under the switch. Otherwise, the driver cuts off the current (coasting) to go straight.
There are 2 switches in series here. This is the second one.
