From 14 April, during the construction works, route 5 trams will run on the route “Mīlgrāvis–Imanta”, from the destination “Iļģuciems” to Jūrmalas gatve there will be a route 5T bus

From 14 April, during the construction works, route 5 trams will run on the route “Mīlgrāvis–Imanta”, while from the destination “Iļģuciems” to Jūrmalas gatve the route 5T bus “Iļģuciems–Botāniskais dārzs” will be organised and tram traffic will be closed on this route. Passengers will be able to transfer between routes at the stop “Botāniskais dārzs/Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte” (Jūrmalas gatve). The transfer time between routes will be 2–3 minutes, on some routes 4 minutes.

Route 5 trams will run from Mīlgrāvis along the route to the stop “Baldones iela”, then along Slokas iela, Jūrmalas gatve, Kurzemes prospekts, Bebru iela, Anniņmuižas bulvāris, Dammes iela, to the tram final destination “Imanta”. From Imanta, trams will run along Dammes iela, Anniņmuižas bulvāris, Bebru iela, Kurzemes prospekts, Jūrmalas gatve, Slokas iela and then along the route to Mīlgrāvis.

On route 5T buses from Ilģuciems will run along Lilijas iela, Dagmāras iela, Slokas iela, Jūrmalas gatve, where at the stop “Botāniskais dārzs/Rīgas Stradiņa universitāte” (towards the centre) they will turn around in the opposite direction of the route. From the Botanical Garden, buses will run along Jūrmalas gatve, Slokas iela, Dagmāras iela, Lilijas iela to the tram final destination “Iļģuciems”.
