Research on an automatic system for connecting poles and catenaries was successfully developed. However, no further funds were released from the state to complete this system. Thus, this practically functioning system was only used on this campus.

At testtravel before last pylone in north of the 150m long testtrack. In June 2019 the poles are at the roof of the new trolleybus, but not connected yet in this days with system. It was finished some weeks later.

For System AOSA1 a former Volvo 7700 dieselbus was bought and rebuild to a batterybus with an electric axle. The vehicle was here on testtravel with electric power before poles was installed at the roof.
