The remains of the Sfânta Vineri Street in 1987 with the terminus of the same name in the background. The tracks were removed in 1988 or 1989 to make way for Ceaușescu's construction projects

Podul Izvor

The Izvor Bridge in 1976, after the removal of the tram tracks on the right bank of the Dâmbovița river (Splaiul Independenței) to make way for the construction works of the metro. The buildings in the background have been since demolished in the 1980s.

Track welder car used on the reconstruction works on the Giulești Avenue. You can notice how it sits on the "wrong" track. The photo is taken in front of the former IFMA elevators factory.
