High Street
The unused stub-end on the High Street line, 150 m. south of the High Street Terminal, is the world's southernmost tramway infrastructure installation of the regular service public transit tramway.
This extension was almost finished when the famous Canterbury earthquake took place in 2010/2011. Following the demolition of the entire neighborhood, this tramway extension was put on hold.

Тупик в конце линии по High Street, в 150 м. к югу от конечной High Street, является самой южной точкой в мире, куда доходит инфраструктура трамвая как городского общественного транспорта.
Данный участок сети был почти достроен, когда в 2010/2011 гг. случилось Кентерберийское землетрясение. Из-за контролируемого сноса окружающих кварталов продление линии было заморожено.
