Last day of ZiU-9 in Chisinau

Kiszyniów

31st of May 2023 was the last day of commercial work for ZiU-9 in Chisinau.
There were 5 trolleybuses working on that day:
3795 — Route 21 (Till noon)
3797 — Route 7
3802 — Route 24
3811 — Route 9
3814 — Route 7

After that, all ZiU-9 trolleybuses (Including training vehicles) were halted and until 02.2026 not any of them was scrapped.
In summer 2024, 3802 became a museum vehicle (Now exhibited at the RTEC Museum)
During icy winter nights (2024-25, 2025-26), 3795, 3797, 3805 and 3814 are scrapping the ice from the network.
