— The yellow line D is extended by 3 stations via the new stretch in the south, in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, from Santo Ovidio to Vila D'Este.
— The violet line E is extended via the central tunnel from Trindade to Estadio do Dragao (in fact, its every second train already runs so).
— The orange line F is extended via the blue line A tracks to the municipality of Matosinhos from Senhora da Hora to Senhor de Matosinhos (in fact, this has already happened, so the blue line is now a shorter variant of the orange one, and the metro frequency in Matosinhos has doubled).
— The new short fully underground pink line G is opened in the center of Porto between Casa da Musica and Sao Bento (thus, these two stations become interchange nodes and two completely new stations are opened — Galiza and Hospital Santo Antonio).
The construction works are actively going on - the entire city center is a construction site but the opening date is not yet defined (as locals say, everything depends on the EU financing).
