At the time of this photo trolleybuses of the Line 3 served two separate branches within the Alteweer suburb, operating around the one-way loop via Kluizeweg — Eduard van Beinumlaan (part of the segment to Burgers' Zoo) in both direction of travel, and then operating via a short separate branch to the Alteweer loop.
A single service pattern of the Line 3 will be formed out of the two branches later own, covering most of the two segments, but with some loss of the overhead.

На момент съёмки троллейбусы 3-го маршрута обслуживали сразу две разные линии в пригороде Alteweer — сперва объезжая односторонний круг по Kluizeweg — Eduard van Beinumlaan (часть линии на Burgers' Zoo) в каждом из направлений движения, а затем направляясь по короткому ответвлению на круг Alteweer.
Позднее из двух линий будет сформирована общая трассировка, наиболее полно покрывающая оба участка, в результате чего часть контактной сети будет снята.
