Thank you, I took this photo especially to show the condition of the tracks. On other pphotos, taken from the same lication, but ozher direction, this was not visible. Perhaps, in a few years this view is history, too and this old part of tracks will see renovation.

Well, according to the city's territory plan, they're intending to relocate the line two blocks east off this street to Ventspils iela in order to make way for an extension to Jaunā Forštate via the new Latgalas iela passage. If I recall it correctly, this street, which has its portion of daily traffic, was also deemed unsafe due to the narrowness of its carriageway created by the existence of the tram track.

На несколько дней линия закрывается и заменяется микроавтобусом. Будут менять КС.
Автобус будет курсировать от конечной 2 трамвая "Хлебокомбинат" до пересечения с маршрутами 1 и 3 (ул.Вентспилс/ул.18.Ноября). Далее, можно будет пересесть в трамвай №1 с тем же билетом. В обратном направлении та же схема. автобус на этом участке будет курсировать по расписанию трамвая.
